Juicy AND lean chicken burgers for the win! These burgers are healthy and SO flavourful. Zero breadcrumbs, making these 100% gluten free.
The easiest burgers you will ever make. Honestly guys, these burgers are ZERO FAFF! Nothing particular, nothing out of the ordinary. Just simple ingredients you probably already have at home.
No bread crumbs are used in these burgers making then 100% gluten free.
Despite the simplicity of this recipe – the flavour is 100% BANGING!
My mother, who is known for her pickiness actually LOVES this recipe. She’s always saying how tasty these are every time we have them for dinner (every Friday!!). If you know about my mum she does not give out compliments easy, so they must be really good.
It blows my mind how such a simple burger can be as juicy and flavoursome as these. I love a bit of cheese, so I melted a mature cheddar cheese slice on the burger when cooked to give it that classic burger vibe. I’m actually dying for another one after typing this now!!
Oh and a quick change of shape from burger patties to kebab shapes and you have your self a humble chicken kebab. Thank me later.
You have to try for your self. And if you, don’t forget to leave a comment!
Juicy and lean chicken kebab burger - Gluten free
Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo chicken breast minced I just mince the chicken myself in the food processor. You could also ask you butcher to do this when your buying.
- 1 large onion red or white is fine. I sometimes like to use half red, half white. Fancy.
- 1 handful corriander
- 4 gralic cloves minced
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika optional
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- Generous pinch sea salt
Instructions
-
If you chicken breast is whole, mince it in a food processor until fully mashed.
-
Mince garlic and finally chop the onions and corriander.
-
Get a clean bowl and add the chicken mince, onion, corriander, garlic, cumin and sea salt.
-
Mash together with hands or fork - which ever you prefer! I think hands is best as you can really get stuck in there!
-
Shape in to burger patties and fry up on a medium heat.
-
Add a lid on the burgers for the first couple of minutes (this allows the burgers to cook evenly and quicker).
-
When you flip, add cheese if you fancy and pop the lip on again to allow the cheese to melt nicely.
-
Assemble your burger which ever way you like! Remeber you can slo shape these into kebab shapes and these make great tortilla fillers the next day for lunch.
Yum! Can’t wait to try this tonight with some home made chips 🙂
Thank you for your reply! Hope it turned out nice ❤️
This was amazing! So juicy and so easy! I love the health factors with minimum oil! Thank you so much so tasty so quick! It’s a win win!!
Defo no need for too much oil with these, just enough for pan fry. You can even oven bake too, but I like frying as it keeps the juice! Thank you so much x
