Decadent dessert tasting brownies without the guilt – say hello to these healthier peanut butter brownies.
So everyone loves brownies right? The answer is yes. But I can’t be dealing with the cups of sugar in regular brownies. Instead I prefer adding ingredients that will actually benefit me.
I love giving my kids tasty snacks that are full of goodness and just happen to taste amazingly yummy!
So these beautiful match made in heaven peanut butter and chocolate brownies include just that, wholesome yumminess:
- Pure cacao powder – rich in magnesium, potassium and iron!
- Natural peanut butter – high in protein
- Oats – high in fibre
- Honey – healthy sweetener alternative
I swear my kids were really patiently waiting for me to make these AND take the pictures too. Like a pack of hyenas waiting for the photo shoot to end before scoffing these down. But who blames them? These brownies are really decadent and indulgent. If you love peanut butter these will definitely be right up your street, although incase of a peanut allergy then other nut or seed butter works perfectly. The nut butter given the brownies a level of fudge that is usually gained by a lot of sugar and butter which is the original way brownies are typically made.
Hope you enjoy eating these as much as me and my family did!
